Hi All,

I’ve been having a great time with The Porch Portrait Project. I’ve met wonderful people, took some very fast and amazing images, and honed my craft by shooting quick and efficient portraits from a well-respected distance. It is an amazing opportunity for you and me to record this moment in history.

I was compelled to create the Porch Portrait Project, not only to fill a creative void while my studio is shuttered but also to document this uncertain time while doing what I could to make a difference. During quarantine, I have found myself without work and no creative outlet. Photographing portraits of people on their porch seemed perfect. You have all been amazing, gracious and supportive…but, I AM NOT DONE YET!

When things lighten up, I will make my way through the registered users and provide Porch Portraits for everyone that has registered! I just need to be patient and remember why I started this project...to document this time in our country, how families feel, and to provide beautiful portraits to families that need them!
